ORDINANCE 091-~
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING APPENDIX A-ZONING SECTION 6D1
TO ALLOW WHOLESALE SALES AND
DISTRIBUTION OF PREPACKAGED MEAT AND
POULTRY AS A PERMITTED USE IN C-4 ZONING
DISTRICTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS,
SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
W~EREA$, the City Commission with the advice and counsel of
~he City Administration deems it in the best interests of the
~esidents and business owners of the City to amend the Zoning
2ode to permit wholesale distribution of prepackaged meat and
poultry in the C-4 zoning district; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO~R4ISSION OF THE
:IT¥ OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Appendix A, Section 6D1 is amended to include
new subparagraph (i) as follows:
(i) The wholesale sales and
distribution of prepackaged meats and
poultry. Sales shall be restricted to sales
to the trades and not to the general public.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
~onflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Should any section or provision of this
)rdinance or portion hereof, any paragraph, sentence, or word be
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such
decision shall not affect the remainder of this ordinance.
Section 4. Authority is hereby granted to codify said
)rdinance.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
