AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
REZONING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND WITHIN
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA FROM
C-3 (COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL) TO C-4
(GENERAL COMMERCIAL); PROVIDING FOR
APPROPRIATE NOTATIONS ON THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS
CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AUTHORITY
TO CODIFY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, has adopted a Comprehensive Plan by Ordinance 89-38 in
mccordance with Chapter 163, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, Christopher Cutro, Planning Director of this City,
has heretofore filed a Petition with the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, pursuant to Section 9 of Appendix A - Zoning, of the
2ode of Ordinances, City of Boynton Beach, Florida, for the
purpose of implementing the recommendations in Planning Area 1.g
)f the Land Use Problems and Opportunities Section of the 1989
2ity of Boynton Beach Comprehensive Plan by rezoning a certain
)arcel of land within the municipal limits of said City, said
property being more particularly described hereinafter, from C-3
2ommunity Commercial) to C-4 (General Commercial); and
WHEREAS, after public hearing and study, and after
~onsideration of the recommendation of the City's Planning and
Zoning Board, the City Commission deems it to be in the best
interest of the inhabitants of said City to rezone the property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO~4MI$SION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1.
The following desCribed land, located in the
Zity of Boynton Beach, Florida, to wit:
Lots 37, 38, 39, 41, 42, 48, 49,
"TRADEWIND ESTATES, AMENDED PLAT,"
according to the plat thereof, as
recorded in Plat Book 21, Page 45 of the
Public Records of Palm Beach County,
Florida.
Containing 4.96 acres, more or less, and
subject to easements and rights of way
record.
