AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA
REZONING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND WITHIN
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA FROM
R-2, (DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL) TO C-2
NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL), PROVIDING FOR
APPROPRIATE NOTATIONS ON THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS
CLAUSE, PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the
Boynton Beach,
"lorida, has adopted a Comprehensive Plan Ordinance 89-38 in
accordance with Chapter 163, Florida Stat~s; and
WHEREAS, Christopher Cutro, Planni~ Director of this City,
has heretofore filed a Petition with/{he City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, pursuant to Section 9 of/Appendix A - Zoning, of the
2ode of Ordinances, City of B~nton Beach, Florida, for the
purpose of implementing the re/ommendations in Planning Area 7.a
)f the Land Use Problems a~ Opportunities Section of the 1989
?
2ity of Boynton Beach C~mprehensive Plan by rezoning a certain
)arcel of land within ~he municipal limits of said City, said
~roperty being more ~a~ticularly described hereinafter, from R-2
IDuplex Residentia~$/to C-2 (Neighborhood Commercial); and
WHEREAS, a~ter public hearing and study, and after
~onsideration /c/~ the recommendations of the City's Planning and
~oning Board/ the City Commission deems it to be in the best
interest of/the inhabitants of Said City to rezone the property.
NOW/THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY O~/BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:

Section 1. The following described land, located in the
Cit~/of Boynton Beach, Florida, to wit:
/ That part of the southern 300 feet of
/ the east 1/2 of southeast 1/4 of
southwest 1/4 of southeast 1/4, north
and east of abandoned Old Boynton Road
right of way, and the north 25 feet of
said abandoned right of way, in Section
20, Range 43 east, and Township 45,
south.
Containing .88 of an acre, more or less,
and subject to easements and rights of
way record.
