AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,FLORIDA
REZONING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND WITHIN
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA FROM
C-2, (NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) TO C-1
(OFFICE COMMERCIAL), LIMITED TO ONE
STORY BUILDINGS, PROVIDING FOR
APPROPRIATE NOTATIONS ON THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS
CLAUSE, PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
~lorida, has adopted a Comprehensive Plan by Ordinance 89-38 in
~ccordance with Chapter 163, Florida Statues; and
WHEREAS, Christopher Cutro, Planning Director of this City,
has heretofore filed a Petition with the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, pursuant to Section 9 of Appendix A - Zoning, of the
!Code of Ordinances, City of Boynton Beach, Florida, for the
ipurpose of implementing the recommendations in Planning Area 4.f
i~f the Land Use Problems and Opportunities Section of the 1989
City of Boynton Beach Comprehensive Plan by rezoning a certain
arcel of land within the municipal limits of said City, said
property being more particularly described hereinafter, from C-2
[Neighborhood Commercial) to C-1 (Office Commercial), limited to
)ne story buildings; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing and study, and after
,~onsideration of the recommendations of the City's Planning and
~oning BOard, the City Commission deems it to be in the best
interest of the inhabitants of said City to rezone the property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
~.ITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1.
The following described land, located in the
",ity of Boynton Beach, Florida, to wit:
Lots 35, 36, 37, "Crestview," according
to the plat thereof, as recorded in Plat
Book 23, Page 154, of the Public Records
of Palm Beach County, Florida.
Containing .92 of an acre, more or less,
and subject to easements and rights of
way record.

e and the same is hereby rezoned from C-2 (Neighborhood
ommercial) to C-1 (Office Commercial), limited to one story
.uildings.
Section 2. The City administration shall make an
~ppropriate notation on the City's Official Zoning Map indicating
~he rezoning, pending the adoption of a revised Official Zoning
4ap.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
~onflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Should any section or provision of this
)rdinance or portion hereof, any paragraph, sentence, or word be
~eclared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such
~ecision shall not affect the remainder of this ordinance.
5. Authority is hereby granted to codify said
