O91-27ORDINANCE NO. 091- AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA REZONING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA FROM R-2, (DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL), TO R-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL), PROVIDING FOR APPROPRIATE NOTATIONS ON THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton ~each, Florida, has adopted a Comprehensive Plan by ]rdinance 89-38 in accordance with Chapter 163, Florida itatues; and WHEREAS, Christopher Cutro, Planning Director of this !ity, has heretofore filed a Petition with the City of 3oynton Beach, Florida, pursuant to Section 9 of Appendix A Zoning, of the Code of Ordinances, City of Boynton Beach, 'lorida, for the purpose of implementing the recommendations in Planning Area 2.c of the Land Use Problems and Opportunities Section of the 1989 City of Boynton Beach Comprehensive Plan by rezoning a certain parcel of land within the municipal limits of said City, said property consideration of and Zoning Board, best interest of property. being more particularly described hereinafter, from R-2 (Duplex Residential) to R-1 (Single Family Residential); and WHEREAS, after public hearing and study, and after the recommendations of the City's Planning the City Commission deems it to be in the the inhabitants of said City to rezone the NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF 1'HE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1.
