Mayor Marchese called the Special Meeting to order ~t 5:01
P.M.
ANNOUNCEMENT
Mr. Cheney announced the following correction to the calen-
dar printed last week which listed the CRA tonight and
stated it was meant to be the Community Relations Board and
it was scheduled on Wednesday, March 22, at 7:00 P. M. in
the second floor conference room.
AGENDA APPROVAL
Vice Mayor Hester moved to approve the agenda, seconded by
Commissioner Olenik. Motion carried 5-0.
RECEIPT OF GENERAL ELECTION RETURNS
Mayor Marchese read the following General Election results:
Victoria Castello - 290
Robert Flanagan - 159
Marvin Greenhut - 1,755
Norm Gregory - 314
Ralph Marchese - 2,302
Gene Moore - 2,165
Frank Cassandra - 2,968
Arline Weiner - 3,776
Philip Martin - 2,437
Lee Wische - 4,222
Vice Mayor Hester moved to accept these election results,
seconded by Commissioner Weiner. Motion carried 5-0.
PROCLAMATION OF RUNOFF ELECTION
Mayor Marchese read a proclamation proclaiming that a Runoff
Election will be held on March 28, 1989, to elect a Mayor at
Large.
Mayor Marchese congratulated Commissioner Weiner on a
remarkable win and added that he wished Mr. Wische was here,
so he could do the same.

ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Olenik moved to adjourn, seconded by Vice Mayor
Hester. Motion carried 5-0 and the meeting was properly
adjourned at 5:07 P. M.
