The Town Commission sbail prepare and cause to be printed the official ballot for each reg-u!~r and special election of the Town, nominations may be made by the filing of a petition signed by at least five (5) registered 'voters of the Town, or by a certificate signed by the ?hairman or Secretary of any mass m.:eting, held within the Tcu'n, at The said certificate shall state when and where said mass meeting was held and give the names of t~e respective candidates for the offices · for which they sba!? be nominated. Electors shall not be confined to the names of candi- dates printed or typew~'itten upon the off~cis! ba?~ot, but may'erase such names and substitute 'names of other candidates to be written upon the ba!'ots by the electors, non~ but t%e [ficial ballot shall be used. Typewritten forms for ballots may be used as well as printed fornm. 375 Section 7.
