A Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of
he Town of Boynton, was held at the Town Hall of the Town
· Boynton, Florida, on Tuesday Morning, March 29th, A. D.

The above constituting the entire B~ard of
mmissioners of the Town of Boynton, Florida.
Commissioner Myers moved the adoption of the'
~lowing resolution:
D. 1926, the Town Commis~J, ion of the Town of Boynton did
~s and adopt an ordinance entitled:
WHEREA~, heretofore and on the Vth day of September,
"AN C~DINANCE OF THE TOWN CF BOYNTON, ~L~i BEACH
COUNTY, STATE OF F~0RiDA, FIXING THE AGGREGATE
~OUNT OF A PROP0~ED ISSUE OF B0~S OF SAID TOWN,
IN THE SUM. OF FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS
($500,000.00), TO BE I~SUED BY THE TOWN OF BOYN-
TON, FLORIDA; FIXXNG THE DENOMINATION oF SAID
BONDS A~ PLACE OF PAYMENT; PROVIDING FOR SAID
BONDS TO BE COUPON BOND~; FIXING THE RATE OF
INTEREST; THE PURPOSE FOR WHI(2~ THE MONIES TO
BE DEEIV~D THEREFROM SHALL BE EXPENDED: FIXING
THE TiME WHE~ SAID BONDS SHALL BE PAYABLE; PRO-
VIDING FOR AN~ CREATING A SINKING FUND, A~ IN-
TEREST ASSESSMENT FOR MEETING AND IX SCHARGING
THE PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST OF SAID BONDS; PRES-
CRIBING THE FORM AND DENOMINATION OF ~AID BONDS;
PHOVIDING FOR A BOND OF THE ThEASURER, ITS AM0~[T,

WHEHEAS, recently there has been some question as to
advisability of 'the issuance ana sale of such bonds so pro-

'NOW THEREPORE, Be It liesolved by the Town Oommission
the Town of Boynton, that the ~uestlon of the issuance and
le of $800,O00.uO negotiable coupon bonds of the ;Town of
~.:~'ton Provided for by the ordinance of said town passed and
on .the ?th day of September, A. D. 192~, be a~maitted
qualified electors of much Town of Boynton at the
annual election to be held in such town on the llth day
A. D. 1927.
Be It Purther Resolved that, should a maJorit~. ~
qualified electors at such election vote in fa~o~ of'the
and sale of said Oonds, that the Town Commission of
said Town $~ Boynton do, in accordance ~herewith, Proceed
the issuance and sale of such ~ond; in the case or in
a ~aJority of ~he qualifieG electors of such town
! ~ote against the issuance and sale of such bo4ds, that
~ town as expressed at such election, do refrain from and do
· no,t issue or sell at this time the bonds provided.for by the
ordinance of said town so Passed and adopted on the 7th day
of September, A. ~. 1926, as aforesaid.
Be It FUrther hesolveG that the Town Clerk of the ·
Town of Boynton ,be, and he hereby is authorized ana directea
to prepare the ballots for, and the el ection officers appointed
~o concuct said annual election so to be held on the llth day
·
of April A. D 1927, be, and they hereby are, authorized and
~irected, at such election, to submit the question of the
L~suance and sale of said bonds to the electors~,of the said
· Boynton participating in su6h annual election.
Thmt the form of ballot upon which such question of
issuance and sale of such bonds aforesaid shall be submitted
the electors cf the Town of Boyn~on shall be substan2ially
follows, to-wit:
