65-R RESOLUTION NO. 65- ~
WHEREAS, certain local students at the Boynton Beach Junior
High School have recently dislinguished themselves, their school and lhe
City of Boynton Beach, Florida, by gaining general public recognition for
their inlellectual abilities and scholastic proficiency by attaining high awards
in recent Counlywide examinations conducled by the Palm Beach County
Council of Mathematic Teachers; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed fitting and proper that the governing body
of lhe City officially recognize these achievemenls;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
1. That DAVID ABBOTT, JON ARCHIE, CHRISTINE WEAVER
AND SCOT WILT, all studenls at the Boynton Beach Junior High School,
their principal, RENICE LANSING, and the entire faculty and staff of said
institution are hereby publicly commended and congratulated upon the out-
standing sch01astic:~zSchievement attained by said students, as reflected by
their high standing accornplis:~ed in the above competitive exarninalions,
and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, the pride
of the community in these accomplishments is hereby officially acknowledged.
2. Thai a copy of this Resolulion shall be spread upon the minutes
of the City Council and certified copies hereof shall be furnished to the above
students and lheir principal.
