65-LRESOLUTION NO. 65-L
WHEREAS, the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, pursuant to the charter of said City, deems it necessary for the
public interest that the public alley within said City, more particularly
described herein, be improved by being built, repaired, resurfaced, and/or
reoullt; and
WHEREAS, the City County of said City aas heretoi'ore, by
Resolution, according to law, required the Superintendent ol' Public Works to
prepare an estimated cost oI such improvement and to prepare plans and
specil'lcatlons covering the construction ol' same; and
WHEREAS, the sa~d Superintendent of Public Works has completed
such requirements, anal sa~d plans and specifications are now on file in his
office, now tr~erefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the following public alley hereinafter described shall be
construczea ana/or rebuilt over the publicly dedicated right-of.--way thereof,
in accordance with plans ana specifications as required by the laws of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, and now on file ~n the ofi'ice or' the
Superintendent of Puol~c Worths, sala alley being more particularly described
as i'ollows:
That certain East-West Alley between N. E. 2nd Avenue and
N. E. 1st Avenue, running from U. S. Higr~way #1 (State Road 5)
westward to N. E. 4th Street.

2. The City Council will sit for the purpose of hearing objections
if any, to the above proposed improvements on the ]~--~day of Februa:
A.D. 1965, at the hour of 8:00 O'clock P. M. , at the Boynton Beach City
Hall, Boynton Beach, Florida.
3. Each abutting property owner along the above proposed
improvements shall be assessed on a front footage basis, charging said
owner his proportionate share as divided by the total improvement cost.
Any such assessment may be paid within 90 days from the date of confirmati
thereof, without interest. Thereafter all assessments shall be payable in
annual installments as hereafter determined by the City Council with
interest at 8% per annum from the expiration of said 90 days in each of the
succeeding years at the time or times in each year at which general muni-
cipal taxes are payable, provided that any assessment may be paid at any
time before due, together with interest thereon to the date of payment.
