65-KRESOLUTION NO. 65- K
WHEREAS, the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, pursuant to the charter of said City, deems it necessary for the
public interest that the public street within said City, more particularly
described herein, be improved by being built, repaired, resurfaced, and/or
rebuilt; and that sidewalks, curbs and gutters be installed in connection with
subject proje ct~
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City has heretofore, by
Resolution, according to law, required the Superintendent of Public Works tc
prepare an estimated cost of such improvement and to prepare plans and
specifications covering the construction of same; and
WHEREAS, the said Superintendent of Pub~ ic Works has completei
such requirements, and said plans and specifications are now on file in his
office, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the following public street hereinafter described shall be
constructed and/or rebuilt over the publicly dedicated right-of-way thereof,
in accordance with plans and specifications as required by the laws of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, and now on file in the office of the
Superintendent of Public Works,
as follows:'

2. The City Council will sit for the purpose of hearing objections,
if any, to the above proposed improvements on the . .I 8~rk-day of February,
A. D. 1965, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. , at lhe Boynton Beach City Hall,
Boynton Beach, Florida.
3. Each abutting property owner along the above proposed improve-
ments shall be assessed on a front footage basis, charging said owner his
proportionate share as divided by the total improvement cost. Any such
assessment may be paid within 90 days from the date of confirmation thereof,
without interest. Thereafter all assessments shall be payable in equal annual
installments as hereafter determined by the Cily Council, with interest at 8%
per annum from the expiration of said 90 days in each of the succeeding years
at the time or times in each year at which general municipal taxes are payable,
provided that any assessment may be paid at any time before due, together wit[
interest thereon to the date of paymenl.
