64-FRESOLUTION NO. 64-~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, pursuant to the Charter of said City, deems it necessary for the public interest that the public street' of said City, more particularly des- cribed hereinafter, be improved by being built, repaired, resurfaced, and/or rebuilt; and WHEREAS, the City Council of said City has heretofore, by Resolution, according to law, required the Superintendent of Public Works to prepare an estimated cost of such improvement and to prepare plans and specifications covering the construction of same; and WHEREAS, the said Superintendent of Public Works has completedl such requirements, and said plans and specifications are now on file in his office, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. That the following public street hereinafter described shall be constructed and/or rebuilt over the public dedicated right-of-way thereof, in accordance with plans and specifications as required by the laws of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, and now on file in the office of the Superintendent of Public Works, said street being more particularly described as follows: That portion of S. E, 2nd Street, lying between S.E. 12th Avenue and a point approximately 296 feet northerly therefrom. O0 $ 690.00 2. The City Councilwill sit for the purpose of hearing objections if any, to the above proposed improvements on the ~ day of A.D. 1964, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. , at the Boynton Beach City Hall, Boynton Beach, Florida. 3. Each abutting property owner along the above proposed imprc~e- ment shall be assessed on a front footage basis, charging said owner his proportionate share as divided by the total improvement cost. Any such assessment may be paid within 90 days from the date of confirmation thereof without interest. Thereafter all assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments with interest at 8% per annum from the expiration of said 90 da, in each of the succeeding years at the time or times in each year at which general municipal taxes are payable, provided that any assessment may be paid at any time before due, together with interest accrued thereon to the date of payment. 1964.
