64-LLRESOLUTION No. 64-LL
WHEREAS, the CI. TY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
in connection with the sale of $6, 000, 000. 00 Refunding and Improvement
Revenue Bonds, has received a $120, 000. 00 good faith deposit check from
the purchaser of said bonds, to wit, BACHE & CO., in the form of a certi-
fied check drawn on New York City funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEAC]
FLORIDA, deems it advisable that said check be negotiated and a local
trust checking account be established for the disbursement of said funds in
connection with the closing of said transaction,
NOWj THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, that OLIVE WALLACE, Financ.
Director of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, be, and she is herei
authorized and directed to establish with the FIRST BANK OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, a trust checking account to be described as "CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH 1964 REFUNDING AND IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BOND
TRUST ACCOUNT" and that the above referred to good faith deposit check
in the amount of $120, 000. 00 be deposited therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that checks on said account be
drawn and executed by the said oLIVE WALLACE as Finance Director of the
City, or in her absence by R. B. CARRIER,-
said checks be countersigned by F.T. KAIN,
by J. ALLISON BANKS, Mayor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of September, A.'D. i964
