WHEREAS, the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, recognizes the need for additional educational facilities within the
city limits of said city to serve the high school age children of the residents
of said city; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of Palm Beach County, Flari~
has heretofore purchased a site for the construction of such high school
facilities in the Boynton Beach area; and
WHEREAS, it is further recognized that additional educational
facilities for vocational training are also needed to serve the residents of said
city;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Board of Education of PaLm
Beach County, Florida, is hereby respectfully requested to immediately in-
vestigate and substantiate the need for additional high school and vocational
school facilities in the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, as above indicated, and
that the necessary preparatory steps to accomplish the construction of said
facilities be initiated at the earliest possible date.
