63-NRESOLUTION No. 63- N
WHEREAS, the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, recognizes the detrimental effect upon the economy
of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH particularly, and of the STATE OF
FLORIDA generally, as a result of the existing dispute between the Florida
East Coast Railway Company and certain employees of said Company,
which has resulted in a cessation of passenger and freight railway service
by said line; and
WHEREAS,

said City Council respectfully submits that in the
economy of said area, thai said dispute should be re-
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, that the management of the Florida
East Coast Railway Company and the employees of said company involved in
the above described dispute, are respectfully urged to jointly exert all
reaspnable efforts to settle said dispute in an amicable manner, to the best
in order to
interest of all parties involved, at the earliest possible date,
restore to a sound basis the economy of this area.
