WHEREAS, THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, is
presently engaged in a major municipal sewage expansion project; and
WHEREAS, in order to augment said program the City has
applied to the United Si ares Public Health Service for a Water Pollution
Control Construction Grant,
660; and
pursuant to the provisions of U. S. Public Law
WHEREAS, in order to expedite the execution of necessary
applications and the processing of same, it is deemed essential that a
representative of the city be designated to fulfill all procedural functions
conne cie d the rewith,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
That John L. Archie, as Mayor of the CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, is hereby duly authorized to execute on behalf of said
City, all necessary applications, forms or other administrative documents
connected with the application of said City to the United States Public Health
Service for a Water Pollution Control Construction Grant under the provisio~
of U. S. Public Law 660, including, but not limited to, Part A and Part B
of the Offer and Acceptance documents relative thereto.
