63-JRESOLUTION NO. 63-~'
WHEREAS, that portion of North Seacrest Boulevard, lying
North of the Boynton Canal, constitutes a main thoroughfare of vehicular
traffic through the city limits of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA
for North-South traffic; and
WHEREAS, said portion of North Seacrest Boulevard is, or
ought to be designated as a county road; and
WHEREAS, said portion of North Seacrest Boulevard has been
maintained in the past by the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH; and
WHEREAS, it is the considered opinion of the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, thai said maintenance could be
more properly handled by the Palm Beach County Road Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That that portion of North Seacrest Boulevard, lying north of
the Boynton Canal to the City limits of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, be formaltydesignated as a County Road and that the Board of
Commissioners of Palm Beach County, undertake the maintenance of subjec
roadway at the earliest possible date.
