63-IIRESOLUTION No. 63- II
WHEREAS, the owner of all lands abutting that portion of a
certain seven foot publicly dedicated alley lying immediately North of and
adjacent to Lots 3 through 9 inclusive, Block 2, LAKE ADDITION TO BOY
according to the plat thereof on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, in Plat Book 11, Page 71, has
heretofore requested the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, for the adoption of a resolution vacating and abandoning the above
described portion of said publicly dedicated alley; and
WHEREAS, it appears that subject alley has never been laid
out, improved or used by the general public; and
WHEREAS, after thorough investigation there appears to be
adequate alternate means of access to the property involved and no valid
reason exists why subject alley should not be vacated,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, that:
1. That the portion of the publicly dedicated seven foot alley lying
immediately North of and adjacent to Lots 3 through 9 inclusive,
Block 2, LAKE ADDITION TO BOYNTON, recorded in Plat Book
11, Page 71 ~ ~
is hereby vacated, nullified, closed and abandoned and subject area is hereby
returned to acreage for purposes of taxation.
