63-AARESOLUTION NO. 63- AA
WHEREAS, the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
not heretofore adopted an official City Flag; and
FLORIDA, has
WHEREAS, in connection with the celebration of the 46th
anniversary of said municipality's existence, a proposed City Flag was
prepared and presented to the City by MRS. ALICE SHEPARD, a long time
resident of the area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it appropriate that said
Flag be adopted as the official Flag of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA,
NOW, THEREFORE be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That the Flag prepared and presented to the CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, by MRS ALICE
SHEPARD, which is now on file in the office of the City
Clerk, be, and the same is hereby formally adopieJ
as the official City Flag of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA.
