A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH AND CHILDREN'S SERVICES
COUNCIL IN THE AMOUNT OF $46,052.00 FOR THE
BOYNTON BEACH LATCHKEY AFTERSCHOOL
PROGRAM; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, upon
recommendation of staff, deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens of the
City of Boynton Beach to execute a Contract with the Children's Services Council
(CSC) in the amount of $46,052.00 for the funding of the Latchkey After School
Program; and
WHEREAS, the Latchkey After School Program is designed to assist those
in need of day care services at Rolling Green and Poinciana Elementary Schools;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach hereby
authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract with the
Children's Services Council (CSC), for grant funding in the amount of $46,052.00
[o be utilized as primary funding for the Latchkey After School Program.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
