62-HHRESOLUTION NO. 62-HH WHEREAS, the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, presently operates certain emergency rescue equipment through its municipal fire department; and WHEREAS, due to the enactment of Ordinance No. 61-26 of said City, generally limiting lhe use of Cily fire equipment to areas within the municipal limits of the City and areas covered by fire service contract s, various questions have arisen as to the authority of the City to utilize its emergency rescue equipment beyond the City limits; and WHEREAS, it is deemed essential that a policy be established relative utilization of said equipment; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Thai in the spirit of mutual aid, the emergency rescue equipment presently being operated by the municipal fire department of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, may, within the discretion of the Fire Chief or acting head of the fire department, respond to calls for assistance to any point within Palm Beach County, Florida, providing such equipment is not needed at the time of such call, to render aid to inhabitants of the City.
