62-BBRESOLUTION 62-BB WHEREAS, the terms of Section 175.02, Florida Statutes 1961, establishes a Board of Trustees of the Municipal Firemen's Pension Trust Fund and further provides for the membership of said Board to consist of the Mayor of the municipality as Chairman, the Chief of the fire department of the municipality, as Secretary, and a regularly employed fireman of the municipality to be appointed by the legislative body of the municipality upon recommendation of a majority of the regularly employed firemen of the municipality; and WHEREAS, the regularly employed firemen of the municipality have heretofore recommended ALLAN H. NYQUIST as the regularly employed fireman to be appointed to said Board; and WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 175.03, Florida Statutes 1961, the Chairman and Secretary of said Board of Trustees are empowered to issue drafts and execute certain other necessary documents on behalf of the Board in connection with the handling of the business of said Fund; and WHEREAS, J. WILLARD PIPES, is presently Mayor of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, and JOHN M. TUITE is presently Chief of the Fire Department of said municipality; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida: 1. That ALLAN H. NYQUIST, is hereby appointed as the regularly employed fireman member of the Board of Trustees of the Municipal Firem Pension Trust Fund of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of Section 175.02, Florida Statutes 1961. 2. That J. WILLARD PIPES and JOHN M. TUITE, as Chairman and Secretary respectively of the Municipal Firemen's Pension~ Trust Fund of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to sign and issue checks, drafts, withdrawl vouchers or other instruments necessary to negotiate funds constituting a part of the Municipal Firemen's Pension Trust Fund of Said City, now on deposit in the First Bank of Boynton Beach, Florida, First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Delray Beach, Florida, and First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Lake Worth, Florida, or any other authorized depository hereafter designated for the handling of such funds, and the above members of said Boa: are further authorized to perform any and all other business and execute any and all instruments relative said Fund, in accordance with their duties as more particularly established in Chapter 175, Florida Slatutes 1961. 3.
