62-ORESOLUTION No. 62- O. WHEREAS, the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, pursuant to the Charier of said City, deems it necessary for the public interest that the public streets of said City, more particularly des- cribed hereinafter, be improved by being built, repaired, resurfaced, and/o~ rebuilt; and WHEREAS, the City Council of said City has heretofore, by Resolution, according to law, required the Supervisor of Public Services to prepare an estimated cost of such improvements and to prepare plans and specifications covering the construction of same; and WHEREAS, the said Supervisor of Public Services has completed such requirements, and said plans and specifications are now on file in his office, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of lhe City of Boynton Beach Florida, as follows: 1. That the following public streets hereinafter described shall be constructed and/or rebuilt over the public dedicated rights-of-way thereof, in accordance with plans and specifications as required by the laws of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, and now on file in the office of the Superviso: of Public Services, said streets being more particularly described as follows The portion of N. E. 6th Avenue, lying between N. E. 3rd Street and N. E. 1st Street. Each abutting property owner along the above proposed improve ment shall be assessed on a front footage basis, charging said owner his pro- portionate share as divided by the total improvement cost. Any such assess- ment may be paid within ~ O day, from the date of confirmation thereof, without interest. Thereafter all assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments with interest at ~ % per annum from the expiration of said ~)~ days in each of the succeeding years at the time or times in each year at which general municipal taxes are payable, provided that any assessment may be paid at any time before due, together with interest accrued thereon to the date of payment.
