62-BRESOLUTION No. 62-B
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE RETIREMENT OF
CERTAIN OUTSTANDING GENERAL OBLIGATION
REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 1946, OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the owner and holder of cerlain outstanding general
obligalion refunding bonds, Series 1946, of lhe CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, lo wil: Bonds No. 571, 573, 574, 576, 580, 583, 584, 585 and
said bonds tolalling $8,500.00 in face value, has offered to discount said
to lhe City for a total sum of $8,001.67; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of said bonds at lhis time will resull in
an overall cash saving to lhe Cily in lhe amount of $3,598.33; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are presently available in lhe Interesl
and Sinking Fund pertaining to subjecl bond issue to enable the Cily lo retire
said bonds; and
WHEREAS, ii is deemed to lhe besl interest of lhe City lo retire
subject bonds at the present time in accordance wilh the above offer;
NOW~ THEREFORE, be ii resolved by the Cily Council of lhe
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. Thai the reliremenl of Bonds No. 571, 573,574, 576, 580, 583,
585 and 756 of lhe CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, outstanding
general obligalion refunding bonds, Series 1946, ~or a lolal consideration of
$8,001.67, including principal and all interest coupons altached thereto is
hereby authorized, approved, ratified and confirmed, and lhe City Adminis-
lrator0 J. B. HENDERSON, is hereby authorized and directed to carry into
effect the purposes and intenl of this Resolution.
