RESOLUTION NO. 62-NNN
WHEREAS, a proposed project for the dredging and extension
of the Boynton Canal is presently being considered through the cooperative
efforts of the Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District and the
Lake Worth Drainage District; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, deems the undertaking and completion of the above project to be
of great beneficial value to the health, safety and welfare and economic
interest of the inhabitants of said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the feelings of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
relative this project be conveyed to the Board of Commissioners
of the Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District
and the Board of Commissioners of the Lake Worth Drainage
District and that said bodies be earnestly urged to exert
their joint cooperative efforts in the early underiaking
and completion of subject project.
