62-EEERESOLUTION No. 62-EEE WHEREAS, fee simple title holder of lois 171, 172, 205, 206 and 207, Laurel Hills, Fourth Addition, according to lhe plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 23, 142, public records of Palm Beach County, Florida, and Lois 284, 285, the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, is the Page 286, 341 and 342 Laurel Hills, corded in Plat Book 23, Florida; and WHEREAS, Northwest 13th Avenue, Fifth Addition, according to the plat thereof re- Page 183 public records of Palm Beach County~ a portion of subject property abuts thai portion of lying between the southerly extension of the easterly boundary of Lot 171 Laurel Hills, Fourth Addition, and the southerly extensior~ of the westerly boundary of Lot 342, Laurel Hills, Fifth Addition; and WHEREAS, the City is desirous of improving subject area as a composite park site, and in connection therewith deems it lo the best interest of the public that the above portion of Northwest 13th Avenue be abandoned and relocated over Lot 207, Laurel Hills, Fourth Addition, and Lot 284, Laurel Hills, Fifth Addition, to enable the City to proceed with the above described development in lhe public interest, NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, thai: 1. That portion of Northwest l~th Avenue, lying between the southerly extension of the easterly boundary of Lot 171, Laurel Hills, Fourth Addition, and the southerly extension of the westerly boundary of Lot 342, Laurel Hills, Fifth Addition, is hereby abandoned and vacated and returned to acreage for the purposes of taxation and said portion of publicly dedicated thoroughfare is hereby relocated over Lot 207, Laurel Hills, Fourth Addition, and Lot 284, Laurel Hills, Fifth Addition, which said area is hereby dedicated to public use with the rights of reversion therein being reserved in the City in the event sar~ is ever abandoned. 2. That any existing public utility facililies presently established within the above described area which is hereby abandoned and vacated, shall be allowed to continue and remain as established, with the respective owners thereof being authorized to enter upon subject area and maintain and repair said facililie ~..
