62-BBBRESOLUTION NO. 62-BBB WHEREAS, the South Lake Worth Inlet District has, for many years, spent considerable sums of tax money to endeavor to keep the Boynton Inlet navigable and free of shoaling, and ~H~REAS, the tidal currents have continually deposited sand and silt, at times building impassable shoals across the inlet, and W~Ed~EAS, the South Lake Worth Inlet District members, after much engineering research, have offered a feasible proposal which is designed to eliminate future shoaling of the Boynton Inlet, and WHEREAS, spoil from the proposed project will be deposited afford- ing additional free parking and recreational facilities at no additional cost to the taxpayers, NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, that the South Lake Worth Inlet District Board members be complimented for their foresight and agressiveness, and the City Council of Boynton Beach further urges the citizens of the city to acquaint themselves with the proposed project and lend support thereto.
