62-ZZR-E-S-O-L-U-T-I-O-N NO. 62-ZZ
WHEREAS, due to the rising cost of labor and materials, the
Municipal Water Department of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
has found that the rates being charge'for the installation of water meters
are inadequate and have recommended to the City Council that said rates
be increased to allow said department to fulfill this portion of their duties
without incurring financial loss,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council
of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, that the following rates for
connection charges, meter deposits and other related matters pertaining
to the Municipal Water Department shall be effective immediately:
CONNECTION CHARGE
METER DEPOSIT
3/4" water meters . . .$60.00 $ 7.50
1" water meters .... $100.00 $ 15.00
1 1/2" water meters . . $195.00 $ 25.00
2" water meters .... $320.00 $ 50.00
In addition to the above charges,
in the event a street crossing
is necessary to connect the individual users property to the main, an addi-
tional $40. 00 shall be charged. Normal connection and disconnection
charges, after initial installation, shall be $1. 00 each; however, such servic.
after normal working hours or on holidays shall be $2.50 each.
