WHE.~EAS the CI1~f OF BOYNTON BF. ACH, FLORIDA, has
heretofore undertaken a project for the construction of a certain
municipal swimming pool at a cost not to exceed ~120,000.00; and
WHEREAS, a majority of the qualified registered
voters of said City have previously approved said program on
referendum election and authorized the issuance of General
Obligation Bonds of said City to finance said project; and
'~F~AS, it is anticipated that the validation and
sale of subject bonds will not be completed for approximately 60
days from date; and
~-IE~EA$, it is the desire of the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, that the construction of this pro
ject be commenced immediately;
NOW, THE~EFOi~, BE IT [~ESOLVED, by the City Council
of the CItY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLOPIDA, as follows:
1. That the City Manager of the CIIY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, is hereby authorized to proceed with the proces-
sing of bids and other procedural steps relative initiation of
construction of the above municipal swimming pool project, and
further that all construction costs, architectural fees and other
attendant expenses connected with the construction of subject
project incurred and coming due prior to receipt of revenues from
the sale of the above General Obligation Bonds, be paid out of
unappropriated surplus monies constituting a part of the general
fund of the CIi~f OF BOYNTON B~ACH, FLORIDA, through a Swimming
Pool Construction Account, and that any funds so expended be
immediately reimbursed to the said general fund upon receipt of
proceeds from the sale of the said municipal swimming pool bonds.
