06-29-60ARESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
has heretofore approved and adopted a plan to make certain im-
provements and extensions to its existing municipal water system
and
WHEREAS, said City has heretofore retained
the services of F. S. SMITHERS & CO. of New York City, New York,
to act as its fiscal agent in connection with said undertaking;
and
WHEREAS, said fiscal agent has submitted to the
City a preliminary outline reflecting the City's Financial capa-
bilities to commence said water improvement program, and
WHEREAS, the City's Engineers, RUSSELL & AXON,
have approved the contents of said outline; and
WHEREAS said proposed water improvement program
is for the best interests, health and welfare of the community,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the CITY OF BoYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the City,through its City Manager, direct
its fiscal agent, F. S. SMITHERS & CO., to proceed with the de-
tails of preparing the financial bond statement to be issued in
connection with this undertaking and to present said statement to
the City Council for final approval and adoption of same as
official.
