WHEREAS, the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
has ~eretofore approved and adopted a plea to make certain improve-
ments and extensions to its existing municipal water system; and
WHEREAS, said City has heretofore retained the
services of F. S. SMITHERS & CO. OF NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK,
to act as its fiscal agent in connection with said undertaking;
and
WHE~AS the City's fiscal agent has heretofore
submitted a preliminary report concerning said program and contain-
ing recommendations that the City authorize its engineers, RUSSELL
& AXON, to proceed with the preparation of final contract drawings,
plans and construction specifications concerning this project in
order to enable the City to obtain the earliest offering date for
the sale of bonds to finance this project,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the CITY OF BOYNTON ~ACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the City, through its City Manager, direct
its engineers, RUSSELL & AXON, to proceed with the preparation of
the final contract drawings, plans and construction specifications
concerning its proposed municipal water improvement program, all
in accordance with Section 2 of the City's contract with its City
Engineers, dated July 10, 1959, and now in effect~'c~ ~ -.~,~ ~, ~
