05-16-60ARESOLUTION

%~EREAS, the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, provides
that the City Treasurer shall prepare all checks and vouchers to be
drawn on the City depositories, and shall sign the same and present
said checks to the Mayor or Vice Mayor to be countersigned as provided
herein or by ordinance of the City Council; and
V~EREAS, the City Council in regular session of May 2nd, 1960 did duly
pass an ordinance that the City Manager shall be authorized to countersign
all checks of the City; and
i~EAS, Louis J. Smitzes is the duly appointed City Manager; and
%'~EAS, Harvey E. Oyer, Jr. is the duly elected mayor and shall sign
checks in the absence of the manager; and
WHERe, John L. Archie, Vice Mayor has been appointed to sign checks in
the absence of the Mayor and the City Manager; and
¥~EREAS, R. B. Carrier is the duly appointed treasurer; and
'~HEREAS, Olive Cierpik has been appointed to prepare and sign checks in
the absence of the Treasurer;
NOW THerEFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that a true copy of this RESOLUTION be sent
to the First Federal Savings & Loan Association of Delray Beach, Florida,
First Federal Savings and Loan Association of West Palm Beach, Florida,
First Federal Savings and Loan Association, Lake Worth, Florida, West Palm
Beach Federal Savings and Loan Association, West Palm Beach, Florida,
Little River Bank & Trust Company, Miami, Florida, and Boynton Beach State
Bank, Boynton Beach, Fla.
Passed and adopted this 16th day of May, A. D., 1960.
