WHEREAS the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, is about
to embark upon a project of renovating and expanding its existing
Municipal water system; and
WHEREAS said project is to be financed through the
sale of special revenue bonds of said City; and
WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and essential in
connection with the issuance and sale of said special revenue bond:
that the City retain the expert services of a qualified fiscal
agent to assist the City in said undeItaking; and
WHEREAS the firm of~SMITHERS & COMPANY, New York Cit~
New York, has previously submitted a proposal to serve the City
in said capacity;
NOW, THE~FOR£, be it resolved by the City Council
of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, hereby re-
rains the firm ofASMITHERS & COMPANY of New York City, New York, a'.
fiscal agent in connection with the issuance and sale of said
special revenue bonds covering the renovation and expansion of sc
Municipality's water system and facilities pertaining thereto, all
in accordance with the proposal of said firm attached hereto and
hereby made a part hereof, and the ~4ayor of the CITY OF BOYNTON
SEACH, FLORIDA, is hereby authorized to execute the acceptance of
said proposal on behalf of the City.
