04-18-60AR-E-S-O-L-U-T-I-O-N WHiP. AS, the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, pursuant to Section 160 of the Charter of the said City, deems it necessary for the public interest that the streets of said City, more particularly described hereinafter, be improved by being built, repaired, re surfaced, and/or rebuilt; and WHEREAS, the City Council of said City has heretofore by Resolution according to law required the Superintendent of Public Works to prepare and estimated cost of such improvements and to prepare plans and specifications covering the construction of same; and WHEREAS, the said Superintendent of Public Works has completed such requirements, now, therefore, E~ IT RESOLVED BT THE CITY OF BOYNTON ~ACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the following street hereinafter described shall be constructed and/or rebuilt in accordance with plans and specifications as recpaired by the laws of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACl FLORIDA, and now on file-in the office of the Superintendent of Public Works, said street being more particularly described as follows: Description The 400 Block of Northwest First Avenue, between Third Street and Fourth, Street: within the City of Boynto~ Beach, Florida. Amount of project to be borne by abutting property owners through special £stimat, No. of Pee~ _ Cost assessment 1,808 Feet $3,~50.05 Amount of project to be borne by City 22 Feet 175.00~ "1,830 Feet 2. The City Council shall sit as a Board for the purpos, of hearinq objections to the above proposed improvements on the 4th day of May , A. D. 1960, at the hour of 2 P.M. at the Boynton Beach City,Hall, Boynton Beach, Florida. 3. Each abutting property owner along the above pro- posed improvement shall be assessed on a front foot basis, charging said owner his proportionate share as divided by the improvement cost above estimated. The property owner shall have the privilege of paying the entire assessment at any time within 90 days from the date of attachment of said improvement lien, and failing to do so there shall be assessed against said property owner as a lien against his property, for three consecu- tive years, a special assessment tax divided into three equal installments, payable as other ad valorem taxes are paid, with interest at the rate of 8~ per annum on the unpaid balance. 4. The Clerk shall prepare an assessment roll showing the number of feet of each lot or parcel of land fronting or abutting upon the improvements and the amount of assessments as to each, and each lot shall be propo~.~lofia~, so assessed.
