10-02-61bRESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the bond resolution previously adopted by the
City authorizing issuance of $120, 000.00 general obligation municipal swim-
ming pool bonds provided for the establishment of a special sinking fund
account in which proceeds from ad valorem taxation raised for the purpose
of paying the principal and interest on said bonds would be depositec~ and from
which said payments would be made in strict accordance with the provisions
of said bond resolution; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to charter authority, the City Council
has caused certain funds to be raised through ad valorem taxation for the
purpose of City publicity and it is deemed essential that a special bank accoun'
be established for the processing of said funds,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized
and directed to establish a special account in the FIRST BANK OF
BOYNTON BEACH, Boynton Beach, Florida, to be designated
"The City of Boynton Beach, Municipal Swimming Pool Bond Sinking
Fund Account" to be maintained in strict accordance with the pro-
visions of the resolution authorizing the issuance of said ~eheral
obligation bonds.
2. That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized
and directed to establish a special account in the FIRST BANK OF
BOYNTON BEACH, Boynton Beach, Florida, to be designated
"The City of Boynton Beach, Publicity Fund Account" and all funds
derived from direct taxation or otherwise, for such purpose, shall
be deposited therein and all expenditures for such purpose made
therefrom, all in accordance with the charter of the City of Boynton
Beach.
3. All municipal personnel presently authorized to
execute checks on the general fund account of the City in the
FIRST BANK OF BOYNTON BEACH, as more specifically set forth
in a copy of a resolution designating same now on file with the
Bank, shall be authorized to draw funds from the two special accounts
