07-17-61d RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, title to certain property located in close proximity
to the western municipal limits of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, more
particularly described hereinafter, has previously vested in Palm Beach
County, Florida, pursuant to a certain final decree of tax lien foreclosure
instituted pursuant to the provisions of Section 194 of the Florida Statutes;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 194.55 (7) of the said Florida
Statutes, the Board of County Commissioners is thereby authorized to
convey subject property to the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, for public
purposes without consideration or public sale, upon request of said City by
proper resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach
County has heretofore by resolution dedicated the use of subject property
for public purposes to the City of Boynton Beach;
NOW, TI-IEREFORE, be it Resolved by the City Council of
the City of Boynton Beach, Florida:
That formal request is hereby made to the Board of County
Commissioners of Palm Beach County, for a conveyance to the City of
Boynton Beach~ Florid3~ of ~he following described property:
Lots 8 through 31 incl., Block 6;
Lots 8 through 31 incl., Block 7;
Lots 8 through 31 incl., Block 8;
Lots 8 through 31 incl., Block 9;
Lots 8 through 31 incl. Block 10,
All in the subdivision of West Boynton Plat 2B, a subdivision of Palm Beach
County, Florida, according to the plat thereof on file in the office of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida,
in Plat Book 15, Pagel3; and
Lois 26 through 49 incl. Block 6;
Lots 26 through 49 incl. Block 7;
Lots 26 through 49 incl. Block 8;
Lois 26 through 49 incl. Block 9,
all in the subdivision of West Boynton Plat 2C, a subdivision of Palm Beach
County, Florida, according to the plat thereof on file in the office of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County, Fl~)rida, recorde~
in Plat Book 15, Page 14, pursuant to the authority of Seclion 194. 55 (7)
