12-13-61cRESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, has heretofore investigated the problem of acquiring an adequate
municipal sewer system for said City, and as a result of said investigation,
after conferring with its engineers, the Florida State Board of Health, and
the citizens of said municipality, has determined it is essential that the
existing municipal sewer system be expanded to meet the needs of the public
and to insure the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the in-
habitants of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida~ and
WHEREAS, the City Engineers have heretofore prepared a
survey and feasibility report relative expansion of said municipal sewer
system, which report has been examined by the members of the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, F.S. SMITHERS & COMPANY, the City's fiscal
agents, have heretofore rendered tentative recommendations for methods of
financing the expansion of the subject sewer system,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida:
1. Thai it is essential that the existing municipal sewer system
of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be expanded to meet the growing needs
of said municipality and to insure the preservation of the health, safety and
welfare of the inhabitants of said municipality.
2. Thai in connection with said sewer expansion program, the
City Council approves and adopts Plan 4 of the recommendations previously
submitted by its Engineers, Russell & Axon, as the most feasible plan for
the expansion of the present sewer system.

counsel, RUSSELL & AXON, Cily Engineers, and GENE MOORE, City
Attorney, are hereby authorized and directed to proceed with the prepara-
tion of the necessary papers and documents preparatory to the validation
of revenue bonds of the City in an amount of approximately $3,300, 000. 00
as recommended in Plan 4 of the engineering report and to submit final
recommendations to the Council for approval prior to initiation of said
validation proceedings.
