11-20-61bRESOLUTION
WHEREAS the existing administrative purchasing procedure
for small purchases has proved to be cumbersome and time consumming
with regard to the City's ability to timely pay for purchases of such small
items; and
WHEREAS, the City's auditor and accountant has recommended
that a more feasible purchasing practice relative small items as more
particularly set forth hereinafter, be established,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That henceforth the city purchasing agent shall be and he is
hereby authorized to make required individual municipal purchases of small
items not exceeding $25.00 in value within the budgetary limits of said City
and such purchases are hereby approved by the City Council.
