A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A
FINAL MILLAGE RATE OF 7.8160 MILLS FOR THE
CITY'S GENERAL OPERATING FUNDS FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1999, AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 2000; PROVIDING THAT THE FINAL
MILLAGE R3~TE OF 7.8160 MILLS IS 3.25% PERCENT
ABOVE THE COMPUTED ROLLED-BACK RATE; PROVIDING
FOR SEVEP3~BILITY, CONFLICTS AND AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WY~EREAS, a Final Budget has been reviewed and considered
by the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
for the ensuing year, with detailed information, including
revenues to be derived from sources other than ad valorem
levy, and the City Manager has made recommendations as to the
amount necessary to be appropriated for the ensuing year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ~RESOLVED BY THE ~TYCOMMISSION OFT HE CITY OF
BOYNTONBEACH, FLO~DA:
Section 1. That the final millage rate necessary to be
levied against ad valorem valuation of property subject to
taxation in the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, to produce a
sufficient sum which together with departmental and other
revenues will be sufficient to pay for appropriations made in
the budget for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 1999, and
ending September 30, 2000, is hereby set at 7.8160 mills plus
0.4249 for Voted Debt Service for a total Final Millage rate
of 8.2409.
Section 2. The Final Millage rate of 7.8160 mills is
3.25 percent above the computed rolled-back rate.
