07-03-61b RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, lhe CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, has
heretofore authorized issuance of $100, 000.00 General Obligation Municipal
Swimming Pool Bonds and has awarded sale of same to F. S. SMITHERS &
CO., New York City, New York; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed essential that there be strict
accountability as to the disbursement of the proceeds of said sale, and that a
separate bank account be established for such purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, that the City Finance Director is
hereby authorized and directed to establish a special bank account with the
First Bank of Boynton Beach, Florida, !o be designated as "THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH SWIMMING POOL CONSTRUCTION FUND ACCOUNT" for
the purpose of properly disbursing the proceeds of the sale of the above
described General Obligation Municipal Bonds and that said Finance Director,
OLIVE WALLACE, or the City Treasurer, R.B. CARRIER, are hereby
authorized to draw checks on said account with all of same to be counter-
signed by City Manager, LOUIS J. SMITZES, or in his absence by Mayor,
JOHN L. ARCHIE, or in the absence of both, by Vice Mayor, WALTER A.
MADSEN.
