CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AWARDING
$100, 000. 00 SWIMMING POOL BONDS, SERIES E.
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice heretofore duly published for
the sale of $100, 000. 00 Swimming Pool Bonds, Series E, dated September 1,
1960, the following sole ~ealed proposal has been received:
The proposal of F. S. SMITHERS & CO., NEW YORK CITY,
NEW YORK, offering to pay the sum of ONE~ HUNDRED THOUSAND TEN
DOLLARS ($100, 010. 00), together with accrued interest from March 1, 1961
to the date of delivery thereof, for said Bonds bearing interest at the rate of
three and three-quarters per centum (3.75) per annum on the Bonds maturin
in the years 1961 to 1970, inclusive, being a net interest cost of EIGHTEEN
THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS ($I 8, 740. 00).
WHEREAS, the proposal of F. S. SMITHERS & CO. referred
lo in the preamble hereof, is the highest and most advantageous bid rec~
and in all other respects complies with said notice of sale; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the proposal of F. S. SMITHERS & CO.
referred to in the preamble hereof,be and the same is hereby accepted, and
the following described Bonds of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and
they are hereby awarded and sold to the said purchaser referred to in the
preamble hereof.
$100, 000. 00 - SWIMMING POOL BONDS, SERIES E, dated
September 1, 1960, numbered 1 to 100, in-
clusive, in the denomination of $1, 000
each, bearing interest and maturing on
September 1 of each year as follows:

Section 2. That the proper officers of the City, be and they
are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Bonds when prepared and
to deliver same to said purchaser upon payment of the purchase price pur-
suant to the conditions stated in the notice of sale, without further authority
from this Council.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
