WATER REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1960,
OF THE CZTY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORZDA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, by resolution duly adopted on the llth day of January, 1961,
as amended, has authorized the issuance of $1,370,000 Water Revenue
Bonds, dated December l, 1960; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable at this time to sell
said $1,370,000 Water Revenue Bonds, Series 1960;and
WHEREAS, F.S. Smithers & Co., has offered a proposal to
purchase said bonds, at the price of $1, S4S, 901.50 , and accrued
interest to the date of delivery, for bonds maturing in the years
1962 to 1979, inclusive, bearing interest at the rate of Four
per centum ( 4.00 %) per annum, and bonds maturing in the year 19~3,
bearing interest at the rate of Four point £ifteen per centum ( 4.15 %)
per annum; and
WHEREAS, the sale of said bonds is in the best financial
interests of the City of Boynton Beach and the inhabitants thereof;
now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the following described bonds of the City
of Boynton Beach, Florida, be, and they are hereby awarded and sold
to F.S. Smithers & Co., at the price of $ 1, S4S, 901.50and accrued
interest to the date of delivery in accordance with the terms of the
proposal referred to in the preambles hereof:
$1,370,000 - WATER REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1960,
dated December l, 1960, in the denomina-
tion of $1,000 each, numbered i to 1,370,
inclusive, bearing interest at the rate

(4.00 %) per annum on the bonds matur-
ing in the years 1962 to 19'79, inclusive,
and at the rate of Four point fifteen per

Section 2. That the proper officers of the City be, and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute all of said bonds
when prepared and to deliver said bonds to the purchasers thereof
Without further authority from this Council.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
