R99-118 RESOLUTION NO. R99~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
AND SUPPORTING THE RENAMING OF "THE
BOYNTON BEACH MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE" TO
"THE LINKS AT BOYNTON BEACH"; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the efforts of the leadership team for the Golf
Course Links Leaders Unlimited to support the Commission's goal of providing
world-class services, the team has recommended a name change for the Boynton
Beach Municipal Golf Course to "The Links at Boynton Beach"; and
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of staff, the City Commission of the
City of Boynton, deems it to be in the best interests of the residents and citizens of
the City of Boynton Beach to approve the renaming of the Boynton Beach Municipal
Golf Course to "The Links at Boynton Beach";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Each Whereas clause set forth above is true and correct and
incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
does hereby approve the renaming of the "Boynton Beach Municipal Golf Course" to
"The Links at Boynton Beach".
Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective October 1, 1999.
