AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 90-45 WHICH
AMENDS CHAPTER 16, ARTICLE II. CITY
PARKS AND BEACHES. DIVISION 3. TRAFFIC
AND PARKING REGULATIONS. SECTION 16-82
RULES, REGULATIONS CONTROLLING PARKING
OF VEHICLES AT MUNICIPAL BEACH PROPERTY
LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN OF OCEAN RIDGE.
DEFINITIONS. OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES
OF SAID CITY; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND
EVERY OTHER SECTION OF ORDINANCE 90-45
AND CHAPTER 16, ARTICLE II. CITY PARKS
AND BEACHES, DIVISION 3. NOT
SPECIFICALLY HEREIN AMENDED SHALL REMAIN
IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY
ENACTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 90-45 amended the City of Boynton
Beach Municipal Beach Parking Permit policy by deleting the
previous practice of the City allowing the residents of
Ocean Ridge to purchase beach decals under the Same terms
and conditions as City of Boynton Beach residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it
wishes to continue the previous practice due to the services
provided by the Town of Ocean Ridge,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT.~
Section 1. Chapter 16. Division 3. Section 16-82
paragraph entitled Definitions. of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Boynton Beach is hereby amended by adding the
words and figures in underlined type as follows:
Resident: Anyone owning real estate and/or leasing,
renting or occupying real estate or living accommodations
within the City of Boynton Beach for a time period of at
least six (6) consecutive months each calendar year, as well
as members of their immediate family residing with them.
Provided~ however, for purposes of this Section, the te~m
"City of Boynton Beach" shall include all property w£thin
the corporate limits of the Town Ocean Ridge.
Section 2. Each and every other
Ordinance 90-45, not herein specifically
remain in full
force and effect as

Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Should any section or provision of this
