RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF N. W. 8TH CT.,
A DEDICATED STREET LOCATED WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL
LI1VIITS OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, JOHN THOMPS ON, the owner of certain lands
abutting N. W. 8th Ct., has rr~ade application to the City Commission of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida, for the adoption of a resolution vacating and
abandoning a portion of the said N. W. 8th Ct., a dedicated street located
within the municipal lirnits of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, as per the
Plat of the Subdivision of Sections 29 and 20, T 45S, R 43E, recorded in Plat
Book 7, page 20, Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, it appears that subject street has never been laid
out or used by the public; and
WHEREAS, it appears thai a portion of subject dedicated street
has been re-platted and included in a subdivision known as GLEN ARBOR, the
plat of which is recorded in Plat Book 25, page 121, Public Records of Palm
Beach County, Florida, said plat having been filed by the Petitioner, JOHN
THOAIIPSON; and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no reason why subject portion
of said dedicated street should not be vacated;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO1V[ -
MISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
That portion of N. W.
eastern boundary of Lots 1, 2,
plat of Lois 13 to 17 inclusvie,
recorded in Plat Book 7, page 20, Palrr~ Beach County Records ) according to
the plat thereof on file in the o£fice or the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for
Palm Beach County, Florida, recorded in Plat Book 25, page 121, said area
constituting the easterly thirty £eet of each of said lots, is hereby vacated,
nullified, closed, and abandoned, and subject area is hereby returned to acre-
age for purposes of taxation'.
