all within the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, certain debris, vegetation and other
matter, or one or more of such undesirable things, and,
WHEREAS, this Council deems it necessary and expedient for the preservation of the
public health and safety of the inhabitants of the City of Boynton Beach; and for
the general welfare of the said City that there should be removed from the said
lands all debris, vegetation and other matter occasioning hurricane hazards, and
THEREF(RE BE IT RESOIPED by the City Council of Boynton Beach, Florida, that this
Council does hereby direct and require said owners of said lands to remove from
said properties, debris, vegetation and other matter occasioning hurricane hazards
within thirty days after notice is served upon them directing them to do so; and
~. 1T F~THER RESOLVED, that if owners shall not within thirty days after notice is
served upon them, directing them to do so, remove from said properties, the thing
or things directed and r.eqtl~d to be removed, this Council shall cause the same to
be removed and will charge, assess and collect the expense thereof, as lien against
the said lands or as a claim against the owners thereof; and
BE IT F~TBER RESOE~ED, that notice and a copy of this Reeolution shall be served
upon the owners of such lands or upon the agent of such owners; or if said owners
are non-residents, or cannot be found within the City, and have no known agent or
agents within the City, a copy of said notice and a copy of this Resolution shall
he posted upon said lands.
This notice is to order you, the owners of said lands described in said Resolution
to remove from said land all debris, vegetation and othe~ matter occasioning hurri-
cane hazards, within thirty days after the date of this a~tice, or this Council
will cause same to be removed, and will charge, assess and collect the expenses of
said removal, as a lien against the said property or as a claim against the owners
or owner thereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, at
its regular meeting of this 21st day of April, 1958.
