04-21-58C Wlt~2~EAS, the City Council of the City of Beynton Beach, Florida, did during its regular meeting held the ~th day of April, 1958, adopt a Res- olution finding it necessary for public interest, that certain streets, located within the l~ts of the said City be improved by being built, re- paired, resurfaced, and rebuilt, and did by said Resolution according to law, authorize the Superintendent of Public Works to prepare and estimate the cost for repair, rebuilding, resurfacing and construction of said streets as described in the said Resolution, now, therefore, ~E IT RESOL~ BY THE CITY 1. That the following street hereinafter described shall be con- structed and/or rebuilt to specifications as required by the laws of the City of Boynton Beach, said property abutting the following street: Estimated ~ Number of ~e~t Cost , N. E. First St. from N.E. 4th Ave. to N.E. 6th Ave. 965 $1356.02 2. The City Council shall sit as a board to bear objections from abutting property holders on ;' :: 1958, at the hour of ~'"7, at the City Hall Building, Boynton Beach, Florida. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to assess each of the abutting property holders located and abutting the above described street, and to assess such property holders on a front foot basis charging said owner his proportionate share as divided by the improvement cost above estimated. The property holder shall have the privilege of paying the entire assess- ment at any time within ninety (90) days from date of lien, and failing to do so the Clerk shall, for three (3) consecutive years assess the said property owner as a lien against the property, a special assessment tax divided into three (3) installments, payable as other ad valOre~ taxes are paid with interest at the rate of 8% per annum on the unpaid balance. 4. The Clerk shall prepare an assessment roll showing the number of feet of each lot or parcel of land fronting or abutting upon the improve- ments and the amount of assessments as to each, and each lot shall be pro- portionately so assessed.
