Minutes 10-02-92HINUTES OF THE SPECIAL CITY COHHISSION #EETING HELD IN COI~tISSION CI-IAI4BERS, CITY HALL, BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2, 1992, AT 10:30 A. #. PRESENT Lynne Matson, Vice Mayor Jose Aguila, Commissioner Edward Harmening, Commissioner Robert Walshak, Commissioner Carrie Parker, Assistant City Manager Sue Kruse, City Clerk CALL TO ORDER Vice Mayor Matson called the meeting to order at 10:35 A. M. to consider the request to disinter Emilia Espinal and Edward Garlinghouse from Sara Simms MemOrial Gardens. Ms. Parker referred to the October 1, 1992 letter addressed to her from Dr. A. Thomas White, Director of Human Services of Palm Beach County, and advised the Commission of the request to disinter Emilia Espinal and Edward Garlinghouse from the indigent burial site in Sara Simms Memorial Gardens. She stated that the families of these decedents would like to bury them in a nonindigent ceme- tery. Hotton Commissioner Harmening moved to approve the request of the Mizell-Faville-Zern funeral home and Dr. A. Thomas White to disinter the remains of Emilia Espinal and Edward Garlinghouse from Sara Simms Memorial Gardens. Commissioner Aguila seconded the motion which carried 4-0. ADJOURNNENT There being no further business to come before this Commission, Commissioner Harmening moved to adjourn at 10:38 A. M. Commissioner Aguila seconded the motion which carried 4-0.
