A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
STAFF TO REQUEST THE
OF TRANSPORTATION
SURPLUS PROPERTY
NORTHEAST CORNER OF

LOCATED AT THE
EAST OCEAN AVENUE
(MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED IN COMPOSITE EXHIBIT '%") TO BE
UTILIZED FOR CITY PURPOSES; ACCEPTING A
QUITCLAIM DEED FROM THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR SAID
PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the FDOT is permitted by law to convey real property that FDOT
no longer needs and determines to be surplus to other public entities to further the
public needs of the State of Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach can utilize FDOT's surplus property
as described in composite Exhibit "A" for City purposes, and will request that FDOT
convey the property to the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are true, correct and incorporated into
this Resolution by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
does hereby authorize staff to request that FDOT convey the proposed surplus
property to the City of Boynton Beach for city purposes, which property is located at
the northeast corner of East Ocean Avenue and N.E. 6th, and more particularly
described in the attached composite Exhibit "A."
