~i~EAS, the County School .Board has requested the surrender of twenty
acres, part of which is our Little League ball field, to the School Board, and
L..$L~EAS, it is imperative to the gTowth of the recreational requirements
of our children for us to have a suitable Little League Field, centerly located
in our City, assessible 'to every child.
NG..~ THE~EFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that before the City will relinquish our
rights to the presen:, field, another 20 Acres of our choosing, equally as well
located and suitable for a Little League ball field, improved to the same extent
as the present field, must be provided, and
BE IT FDRTIi~R RESOLVED, that such property be twmued over to the City
free and clear of any and all encumbrances.
